Choosing your Guruu
Each profile lists experience, qualifications, and availability. Once you’ve found your match, book a time that suits you and pay securely through Guruu.
Treat a booking as a contract
Booking a Guruu means both sides agree to meet at the chosen time and deliver the session as described.
Booking Guruus for children
Learners under 18 must have an account set up by a parent or guardian. Guardians can access session recordings and are responsible for supervision.
What you can’t ask for
Certain services (like completing homework or offering medical or financial advice) aren’t allowed. See the full list in our Community Standards
How much does it cost?
Each Guruu sets their own rate. You’ll see the price upfront before booking, plus a small service fee and any required taxes.
How do payments work?
All payments are handled securely through Stripe. Guruu holds funds until your session is complete, then releases them to your Guruu.
Cancellations or changes
You can reschedule or cancel in your dashboard. Refunds depend on the Guruu’s cancellation policy — check their profile for details.
Reviews
After each session, leave a short review to help your Guruu grow and guide other learners.
