Intellectual Property Claims

Guruu.co is a platform that relies on User-Generated Content (UGC). We do not pre-screen uploaded content for copyright or trademark violations. However, if you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, you can report it, and we will investigate. If a violation is found, we may remove or disable the content.


Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe someone has uploaded content that infringes your copyright, please send a Copyright Infringement Notice with the following details:

  1. Identification of your copyrighted work and what is protected.
  2. Proof of ownership, such as a copyright certificate or registration details.
  3. Description of the alleged infringement and how it violates your rights.
  4. Link(s) to the infringing material (e.g., profile URL).
  5. Your full contact details (name, address, email, and phone number).
  6. A good faith statement confirming the use of the material is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
  7. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate, and you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  8. Your electronic or physical signature.

Counter-Notification for Copyright Disputes

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you can file a Counter-Notice with:

  1. Your signature (electronic or physical).
  2. Details of the removed content (including the original location).
  3. Your full contact details.
  4. A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
  5. Agreement to legal jurisdiction (consenting to court proceedings if necessary).

Once received, we may restore the content if the original complainant does not take legal action within 10 business days.


Reporting Trademark Infringement

If you believe content on Guruu.co infringes your trademark, send a Trademark Infringement Notice with the following:

  1. Identification of your trademark and the goods/services it covers.
  2. Proof of trademark ownership (registration certificate or a court ruling confirming unregistered trademark rights).
  3. Description of the alleged infringement.
  4. Link(s) to the infringing material (e.g., profile URL).
  5. Your full contact details.
  6. A good faith statement confirming the use of the material is unauthorized.
  7. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate.
  8. Your electronic or physical signature.

If we find a valid claim, we may remove the content. If the user provides evidence of rightful use, we may notify you and reinstate the content.


Repeat Infringers

Users who repeatedly violate copyright or trademark laws may have their accounts suspended or permanently disabled.
